Our Premarital Counseling Program

 

Each package of our Premarital Counseling Program covers 5 key components. For each area we discuss, you also receive practical tools and resources to assist you with managing throughout your relationship. They include:

• Family Roles, Rules, and Responsibilities: Processing building family and/or blending families 

• Learning to Enhance Intimacy, Love, Romance, & Sex

As a therapist and educator, Dr. Tea not only helps you to process the information, but also uses research to help you understand how certain issues impact you and the best ways to manage in your relationship. In addition, we use a series of assessments to tailor the program and topics to your unique needs and priorities - helping you to feel confident and assured going into your wedding day, and the rest of your lives together.

Our Premarital Packages

Our program provides you with 2 convenient packages to choose from: 

​

Standard Package: 

 

The Standard Premarital Package is a great "starter" package. It covers six main topics:

​

• Financial Management & Responsibilities

• Family Planning/Blending Families/Parenting

• Love and Relationship Styles

• Sex, Romance and Intimacy

• Conflict Management

• Communication

​

This package includes 6 sessions, each 60 minutes in length, priced at $850. The timeframe for completion averages 3-6 months.

​

Premium Premarital Package: 

 

The Premium Premarital Package includes everything in the Standard Package, with additional sessions for a deeper dive into each topic. It includes:

​

• All six topics of the Standard Package

• 3 additional sessions to explore each partner's individual love, relationship, and attachment styles

• 9 sessions, each 60 minutes long

​

The additional time allows for more in-depth exploration of topics, helping to identify, address, and resolve concerns that could have both short- and long-term impacts on your relationship, and exploring each partners individual love, relationship, and attachment styles to connect with your communication, intimacy, and marital goals.

​

This package includes 9 sessions, each 60 minutes in length, priced at $1250. The timeframe for completion averages 4-9 months.

Booking Our Premarital Program

​

Registering for our premarital program is a simple process and involves:

​

Step 1: Contact us to schedule a free, no-obligation 15 minute consultation. This is to ensure that our program is a best fit for you. 

​

Step 2: After your consultation, select the package that is the best fit for you (Standard | Premium).

 

Step 3: Our Administrative Assistant will assist you with scheduling your sessions based on a day/time that works best for you (note: service available to residents in Florida, Virginia, and the District of Columbia). 

 

Step 4: Complete your sessions! Have fun learning more about one another and strengthening your foundation of love.

Step 5: After your sessions have been completed, you will receive a personalized Certificate of Completion as well as a gift certificate for a complimentary "Relationship Check-Up" good for 1 year from the date of completion.
